“Cruising with The King”
The Hamilton Collection wanted to produce a new sculpted vehicle collection pairing The King of Rock ‘n’ Roll with iconic Corvettes. Since the collection’s advertising needed to be approved by both Elvis Presley Enterprises and General Motors, it was important to write copy that not only appealed to customers but also matched the tone and style of each licensor.
The advertising was a success, and the product was produced.

Carroll Shelby’s vehicles have inspired many winning products for The Hamilton Collection. When they wanted to create a new precision-sculpted collection, it only made sense to start with the Shelby Cobra.
Hamilton’s marketing team wanted to highlight Carroll Shelby’s near-legendary career while emphasizing the product’s impressive detail. I focused on using terms that reinforced the idea that the product — and Shelby’s gorgeous Cobra — was the work of a true master.
The advertising successfully convinced customers to place enough pre-orders that the collection was produced.
