AWAI Bootcamp Display Ad

American Writers & Artists Institute has been providing copywriting training programs, events, and exclusive communities to aspiring writers since 1997.

They needed an ad that captured the excitement, value, and benefits of attending their annual in-person event…and convinced readers to click the link.

While reviewing AWAI’s information about the event, I noticed that previous attendees had referred to Bootcamp as “rocket fuel” for their writing careers.

Using that idea as a starting place for the tone of the ad, I chose words that suggested fast, upward movement to speak to the reader’s aspirations.

Erborian CC Cream Display Ad (spec)

Erborian is a Korean skincare brand that focuses on creating innovative products that offer a natural appearance while improving the skin’s texture.

I wanted to create an ad that highlights the benefits of my holy-grail makeup and skincare product: Erborian CC Cream.

While reviewing their current ads, I noticed the idea of “filtered” skin was in their materials, but it often took a back seat to some of the other benefits.

I didn’t want to lose their messaging around skin health and luminosity, so I introduced the idea of a glow filter in the headline and backed it up in one of the bullets while keeping their core messages.
